My contribution to the project:

- In charge of documentation and Game Design Document

-Ideation of two of the three minigames. (Drawing your own path and rotating maze).

- All level design of the two minigames mentioned above

-Creating the rules of the game and minigames.

-Overall game balancing.

-Creation of dialogue and game text.

Evershift is an experimental VHS-style-inspired game that changes its look constantly, based on the player's performance. There are three challenges scattered around the Forest/Jungle/Psychodelic nightmare to test the player. To escape from these unfortunate events, the player needs to find the triggers of these challenges and play the mini-games and finish the game.

I worked as a game designer on it, coming up with the mini-games, creating levels, prototyping mechanics, and balancing. I also was in charge of the dialogue and the confusing narrative.

​

The game was made in Unity as an experimental project for my university and it earned an honorable mention at the A MAZE. Berlin festival 2020.
